Ciao, a tutti !


that means "Hello, everybody!" in Italian. :P
sorry for the absence of entry :| just begun my holiday. yay~
i've done enough in 10th grade, now i'm an 11th grader~
i know it will be much more tougher than before. i must study hard to achieve what i've lost at 10th grade.
promise.


and people,
just for your information, i've been in LOVE with Venice since i was like, 7th grade.
and i'm serious. 7th grade.
and i was like, 12 or 13 years old. now i'm 16 ;)



i started to love Venice since i read a manga, titled "ARIA" by Kozue Amano. and i've read all of them. online. (LOL) and i've bought the anime as well.
and it's just so amazing. beautifully drawn. extraordinary story. interesting characters. just the best manga EVER.
read it if you please ;)


and i have been in love since then. i watched some movies where Venice was one of the filming place.
such as The Tourist!
where my most favorite actor, Johnny Depp is one of the main character.

okay, back to topic.
Venice is located in northern Italy, known both for tourism and for industry.
they said that it's the second most romantic city in the world, after Paris.
now Paris is just so gorgeous. but i love Venice more.

Venice is surrounded by water. water is just everywhere. but there are transportation such as Gondola (a classical Venetian boat. beautiful.) and Vaporetti (water bus). wish i could ride one ;)

it's written on my To-Do List already, haha.
i will go there with my mom. actually she loves Paris more. but we'll go to Paris after Venice. LOL

then i'll go there with someone else.

and i'd like to study Italian as well. still looking for the class.
so i can speak well when i visit that magical place.

Lady GaGa Plagiarized SNSD?

there's a plagiarism controversy between Lady GaGa's "Born This Way" and SNSD's "Be Happy!"
i'm a SONE and i'm quite confused cos i love both of this song,
i've watched several videos on YouTube, and i do feel that there are some similarities...




"Born This Way" is a track from Lady GaGa's February 2011 release, while "Be Happy" is a 2010 track from SNSD's Second album.

actually they slower "be happy" a lil bit. they come in a faster tempo.


The responses from netizens have been largely divided. Idol singer, Jo Kwon's childhood story was truly touching..

In the recently published book "Sebakwi - The Family Story", Jo Kwon honestly revealed the story from his childhood. At times when business was tough and economy was bad all little Jo Kwon could do for his parents was to make sure he did not complain or behave like a spoiled child. "Even if I wanted something I tried my best to pretend not to care. Even if I wanted to eat something I had to hold back. That was the only thing little Kwon could do for his parents," Jo Kwon confessed.

And the "ddokbokki restaurant story" made fans cry.

Jo Kwon explained, "Every time I came home from school, nobody was around. Both of my parents worked and sometimes they would come home passed dinner time. My stomach would grumble. In the morning when my mother was about to go to work I remember she said, 'Kwon-ah, if you are hungry, go to the restaurant across the street and eat whatever you want to eat. Tell the owner that Mommy will pay for it later, okay?' So for a few days I went to the restaurant to eat on credit and the owner started to look at me differently. She said, 'Why hasn't you mother paid up? It's been quite a while. Want to ask for a credit in a ddokbokki restaurant?' All the kids in the neighborhood were looking at me so I stuffed a whole roll of kimbap down my throat and ran away. After that I was afraid the owner might come and look for me so I hid. I thought, 'Today I will just have to wait until Mommy comes home', so I sat on the stairs and waited for my mother. The wait was long and cold."

Jo Kwon also revealed the anxious time when he lived as a trainee for 8 years and his happiness when he received his first income.

"The amount printed in my bank book was 200,000 won. It was the first income I earned after I debuted as a singer. I held the bank book and thought about what I should do with it. Then I decided to settle the cell phone fee and called my mother. 'Mom, I used my first income to settle the cell phone fee! Isn't it great?' And my mother cried." So many readers and fans cried reading that part.

Netizens gave encouraging comments such as, "I read the whole thing and I cried. I hope he will continue to be good and be a filial son", "He grew up so well and cheerful in that hard times ㅠㅠ He doesn't fuss about it on television shows and he works hard."

The Perspective of Life

One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"

"It was great, Dad".

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.

"Oh yeah" said the son.

"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father. The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole
horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.
